The weekend
So, I had a great weekend with the kiddies. Friday, I had a Christmas party with the youth group leaders, so they got to play with other kids from church. Saturday, we got our family picture taken, which was, of course an ordeal. Although it wasn't as bad as I expected. I think we got an okay picture though. We spent the rest of the day at my parents' house, and the cousins all got to play together. Sunday was church, which was really good, and in the evening, we had a kids Christmas program. Ethan was participating, ever so subtley (I'm not sure if I spelled that right), and Elyse just stood there. It was really cute. All these other kids jumping up and down, and Elyse... was checking out her nails....

Going back on the shoe post from a few back... how do you know if there is a manufacter's defect? Anywho...problem? You? NO!!!! Of course you have a problem. Your soul shoes are shooing away all the new ones because you already have them... What stores have you gone to? Have you tried Famous Footwear? There's one over by Star Theatre in that plaza. Or, there's one in Grandville. We should make a trip to Grandville, and go shopping. That would be fun. I have birthday money to spend!!!
Uhhhh....so what did you think of Nate, well, what he said. He's very shy, especially around people he doesn't know. Like, uber shy. Surprisingly enough, I talked to him on the phone for a half an hour today! I was like wow! There were a few awkward silences (which happen often when I'm on the phone), but nontheless, it was a good conversation. More so than I've had with him in the past.
